China Green Education Action (CGEA) was founded in Beijing in March, 2002. CGEA is also a part of an NGO “China, Japan and Korea Environmental Network” which founded in 2000.
CGEA is a non-governmental organization which promotes environmental education to both the youth and the public including providing in-service training to teachers in this area.
Our work includes that supporting and sustaining environmental education activities to sister provinces and cities; creating and promoting the environmental playlet for children; holding summer camps for the involved three countries; training teachers by utilizing new methods and advanced ideas; publishing books for both students and teachers; and encouraging the external communication.
Although CGEA is a small, young NGO, we have overcome several difficulties, and have the confidence,enthusiasm, and ability to continue promoting and sustaining environmental education for a brighter future.
